Maples Nursery school and Children’s Centre provides childcare for children from 2 – 5 years.
All children are eligible for 15 free hours of education, the term after their third birthday. We are able to offer 15 hours in a variety of ways to support children and families, subject to availability. When applying for a place you will be asked for a preference from the following options:
|Monday – Friday||9.00 – 12.00|
|Monday – Friday||12.45 – 15.45pm|
|Monday & Tuesday||9.00 – 16.30pm|
|Thursday & Friday||9.00 – 16.30pm|
Additional hours are available on request and fees generally apply.
From September 2017 we will offer a number places to meet the new 30 hour offer. If you think you may be eligible for free 30 hours of childcare, please click on childcare choices on the home page. You will need to bring the 11 digit code with you when applying for a 30 hour nursery place.
If your child stays for a full day you will need to provide a packed lunch. At lunch time the children go to the community room and are supervised by staff from the extended day team.
From 9.00 – 12.00 and 12.45 – 3.45 children will be in the nursery classroom.
