Mission Statement

At Maples Nursery School and Children’s Centre we value the diverse community that we serve.  We believe that every child, family and member of staff matters and we work hard to create a place where we can all learn and grow together.

We promote: empathy and a sense of community within a caring and inclusive environment, inclusion and fairness, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths or beliefs, individual liberty, the universal values of democracy.

The Governors and staff are passionate in ensuring that children are provided with unlimited opportunities to be successful and responsible members of the community. We want to create a safe, happy place where children become curious, confident, creative learners. We provide a child-centred learning environment which promotes independence and resilience, building upon children’s interests, curiosity and their disposition to learn.
