Ofsted

Ofsted is the Office For Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills.

Their role is to make sure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England, do so to a high standard.

A school judged to be good or outstanding, will normally receive an inspection approximately every 4 years, to confirm that the school remains good or outstanding.
A school judged as requires improvement at its last inspection is a school that is not yet good but overall provides an acceptable standard of education. The school will receive a graded inspection again within a period of 30 months.

"My daughter settled very quickly and absolutely blossomed here. The staff are all calm, engaged, thoughtful and inspiring. The approach is child-centred and deceptively simple- the children are learning bucket loads through play; the facilities are fantastic and the garden and outdoor play area provide a wonderful environment in which to explore, play and learn. Maples is the most inclusive, supportive and loving centre I have ever come across for my 3 children, we still talk about it all the time, although my daughter is now going into year 3! It is simply magical"
